Julie Bissonnette
Julie Bissonnette is a graduate of the Institute of Agri-Food Technology, at the Saint-Hyacinthe campus. Originally from the Montérégie region, she grew up on the family farm. In addition to her community commitment, she divides her time between her work as an Agro-environmental Technician at the Club Agrinove and running the Olivier L. Fleury Farm in L'Avenir with her husband. Until recently, she was president of the Fédération du relève agricole du Québec, a position she has held since March 2018. Ms. Bissonnette has been involved in the Young Farmers Network for more than fifteen years. She sits on a dozen boards and committees in Quebec's agricultural industry, in addition to being president of the Table pancanadienne de la relève agricole (TPRA) and president of the Fiducie Réseau express métropolitain (REM).
