Lukas started raising free-range pigs with his brother. The motivation behind this was their desire to focus more on quality and animal welfare, as well as their belief in free-range pigs as part of the future of agriculture in Austria.
In addition to his farming activities, he is also involved in various political projects related to agriculture. This includes participation in organizations such as the Farmers' Federation Bauernbund. Apart from this Farmers' Federation, he is also actively involved in the "Alianza" project of the Weltha us Graz, which focuses on advocating for and supporting policies related to family farming.
